Marriage day + Honeymoon

We got married on April 22, 2011 at 2pm in the Timpanogus temple. It was a beautiful day and we were SOO excited! The spirit was super strong and we both knew without a doubt that Heavenly Father was happy for our choice and decision! We will never forget looking at each other over the alter knowing that we were being sealed for time and all eternity!!! We were beaming and the promises in the sealing were incredible! After a great photo shoot with friends and family members, we left in a limo to the Anniversary Inn, where we got a room that looked like a treehouse in a jungle the first night and the Romeo and Juliet room the second night. We were then off to Jamaics for an incredible Honeymoon at the Sandals Resort there. We enjoyed the beach, pools, people, free drinks, all you can eat foods at tons of restaurants, the ppl, scuba divining, wake boarding, sailing, sand voleyball, canoeing, dances, performances, etc, etc. We became friends with the activities leaders and they always hoped we would come to the events! We had a week of fun and then came home in time to pack for our summer in Minnesota to do summer sales. This was just the start to our new adventure together :)

Our Engagement

Vince knew I was expecting the ring....we had been looking and he already knew the style I liked. PLUS, we already planned a time to go to Colorado for engagent pictures!! This made it a challenge for him to surprise me, but he still did! My birthday was coming up but he didn't want me to suspect my birthday so he randomly mentioned Colorado a lot which made me automatically think that he was definitely planning on proposing in Colorado. On my birthday, he tricked me several times which I thought was a joke since I "knew" he would be proposing in CO. for eaxmalpe, we went to Rodizio grill as my birthday dinner and after eating, he gave me a birthday press and he purposefully Turned in his seat. All of a sudden I got a look on my face like, oh no, not here in a loud restaurant! I stuck my hand in to feel a small box, which made it worse. Phew, it was just perfume. I laughed about how he had tricked me. He took my home that night right on curfew like every night, and he drove away in his hot truck while I waved like always. I ran inside and got on a long pj shirt and washed my face so after my family gift exchange, I could go talk to Vince on the phone even quicker. My family was all around the table handing me gifts. The last gift was a huge bag. I reached in and pulled out a schubach box...I laughed knowing it had to be a family joke. I opened it to see a fuzzy box getting more and more weirded out' but thinking it was a brelet or something. I open it seeing an empty ring box RIGHT as the love of my life comes thru the back sliding door with a rose in his mouth and a ring in his hand. He kneels and asks the question and I scream YES three times. Yep, it's ALL on film, too!!!!
